We are very happy to inform you that the Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing this year will hold its National Summer Conference\u00a0 <\/strong>on April 26-27, 2017 at the Bohol Tropics Resort, Tagbilaran City<\/strong>, Bohol, <\/strong>\u00a0with the theme, \u201c<\/strong>Towards Quality Nursing Education: Transition, Translation, Transformation.\u201d<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

This conference will present the highlights of the CHED Memo on the BSN OBE, teaching-learning activities, OBE assessment and quality assurance\/quality improvement mechanisms. It has also been applied for CPD units.<\/p>\n

The Conference aims to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Articulate the needed preparations for the BSN-OBE curriculum implementation (Transition);<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. Justify the relevance and implications of educational and professional reforms to Nursing education (Transition);<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Match the appropriate teaching-learning activities congruent with 21st<\/sup> Century learners\u2019 needs (Translation);<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. Plan for various levels of OBE assessment (Translation);<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Determine quality assurance\/quality improvement mechanisms for progressive transformation in the institutional level (Transformation).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    With this, may we invite you, your Academic \/ Clinical \/ Level Coordinators and Faculty Members, Graduate Students <\/strong>in Nursing to attend and actively participate in the Conference.<\/p>\n
